# Bexio

> Connect Breezing to Bexio to sync your chart of accounts and push crypto transactions as manual journal entries into your Swiss books.

Breezing connects directly to Bexio, so Swiss businesses can keep their crypto subledger in Breezing and push clean journal entries into their books. You can connect one accounting tool at a time (Xero, QuickBooks Online, or Bexio).

### How to Connect Bexio

1. Navigate to **Chart of Accounts** on the left menu.
2. Click **Link accounts** and select **Bexio** in the "Link accounting" modal.
3. Click **Link**. You will be redirected to the Bexio login screen; sign in and approve the connection.
4. Back in Breezing, the Bexio card shows a green **Connected** badge.
5. Click **Sync Chart of Accounts** on the Bexio integration card to pull your accounts into Breezing.

*Note: whenever you add or change accounts in Bexio, come back and click **Sync Chart of Accounts** again to refresh the list.*

### Syncing Transactions to Bexio

Once your transactions are categorized, you can push them to Bexio individually or in bulk:

* **In bulk:** select the transactions on your Dashboard, open the **Manage** menu, and choose **Sync to Bexio**.
* **Individually:** open a transaction and use the sync option in the transaction details.

Each transaction becomes a manual compound entry in Bexio, carrying your debit and credit lines, the accounting description, and a `BREEZING` reference with the transaction ID so you can always trace an entry back to its source. Syncing the same transaction again updates the existing entry instead of creating a duplicate. After a sync, the transaction offers a **View journal on Bexio** link that opens the entry directly in Bexio.

If an entry was deleted on the Bexio side, Breezing clears the stale reference when you next sync and creates a fresh entry on the retry.

### What Bexio Supports

The Bexio integration covers chart of accounts sync and journal entry sync (create and update). Compared to the Xero and QuickBooks integrations, it currently does not include creating accounts from Breezing, the duplicate journal scan, tracking categories or classes, invoice payments, or journal attachments. ### Disconnecting Bexio

Click **Disconnect** on the Bexio integration card. Your synced chart of accounts stays in Breezing, but you won't be able to sync accounts or push journals until you reconnect.
